Abstract

Objective: Recently, there are many investigation about acupuncture stimulation effect in immunology, neurology, hematology. These studying results were proved effective alleviation of pain by acupuncture stimulation. Many studies have showed the evidences of the effect of the acupuncture treatment through scientific methods. but there are not theory that clearly explained to pain control mechanism induced by acupuncture stimulation.
Methods: Author investigated about pain control mechanism induced by acupuncture stimulation each of oriental £¦western medical method.
Results: 1. As oriental medical method, acupuncture stimulation effect is chuqichishen (ðàѨö½ãê) and make tongchebutong (÷×öÎÝÕ÷Ô), 2. Gate control theory is foundation that pain control mechanism induced by acupuncture stimulation, 3. Acupuncture pain control hypotheses is advanced to role of higher brain & endocrine system, 4. The latest theory is integrated model of the hypothesis (intensified hypothalamus), 5. The placebo & narcotic effect and taut band removed theory are incomplete
